A divorce very well may be the most expensive event of your life, and yet very few people consider working with a financial advisor during the divorce process. Having a financial advisor in your corner alongside your tax and legal consultants can help you avoid making costly financial mistakes, and better yet, they can help you return to a place of financial security once the divorce is finalized. Most individuals are seeking financial security after a divorce, but very few have a plan on how to actually get there.
I encourage my clients to remember that their financial health is important too. During a time of extreme stress and emotional turmoil, it’s all too easy to make costly financial mistake in the heat of the moment. Decisions will need to be made about income, assets, college expenses, retirement, and so much more. And if you’re not financially minded, you may find yourself facing regrets in the future.
My goal is to help clients gain an understanding of where they are now, listen to their concerns, and help point out the multitude of items that they likely haven’t even considered yet.
My name is Danielle, and I’m a financial advisor with Savant Wealth Management. If you’re in the divorce process and could use a financial advisor in your corner, I encourage you to get in touch. Call (866) 489-0500 | Shedule a Call
