Mary has been involved in the tax industry since 1993. She was an accountant with R.F. Book & Associates, P.A. CPAs, from 2009 until it joined with Savant Tax & Consulting in 2023. Prior to joining R.F. Book, Mary was an estate paralegal at a local law firm, where she prepared estate tax returns.
Mary earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Wesley College in Dover, DE, graduating with summa cum laude honors. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA).
Mary volunteers as a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, headquartered in Yorktown Heights, NY. She and her husband have five children, eight grandchildren, three dogs, and two cats. Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her family, working with her GEB puppy, and volunteering for the high school marching band parents’ booster club.
